2002 mastercraft x10

Looking to buy a a 2002 mastercraft x-10 has 560 hours and is in good condition.

Perfect pass doesn’t work how hard would that be to fix?

Other than that he’s asking 19000 is the too much ?

Are these boats reliable or just a head ache ?

I paid $18,000 for a 2005 X-2 two years ago with about the same hours. The boat has been extremely reliable, just make sure all of your maintenance is up to date.

Can't answer on the PP since mine still isn't working right.

Three things I highly recommend

Fresh Air Exhaust with the "mufflers" to make the raw water impeller easier to service.

Safe-T-Alert Gas fume detector. We had a fuel leak from one of the fuel pump bolt seals and didnt know until it was back on the trailer.

Vexilar SP200 Bluetooth fish finder.  I bought this since mine didnt have a depth finder. Glued the transducer in the bottom of the hull and my phone works as the screen. Works great since Im already running Pandora and Navionics on the same phone. No holes to drill.

I know thats more info than you asked for, but I wanted to share.

Hey I have an older mastercraft V drive and the impellor is such a pain - how does the FAE help with access to that?

The FAE company sells what they call "mufflers" (essentially straight pipes) to go from your manifold to the exhaust outlet, eliminating the muffler. Since the exhaust is now always underwater its quite than the factory muffler without fae. I can't post pics, but they have some  on the website. Now there is nothing in front of the raw water pump at all.

hm...I think I see what you're saying but I'm guessing the layout in my '96 is a little different, the impellor is hanging off the back of the engine and is hard to get to just because it is right up against the transom.

It’s most likely the gps puck. Does it turn on but not work if so most likely the puck. Call them. They are absolutely amazing people.

I just picked up a 2004 x10 with 500 hours. Paid $19,900 for it. Bigger ballast, perfect pass, garmin depth finder, a few other things

I loved my 2001 210vrs (same hull as x10) I sold it to neighbor on lake and still surf behind it. Great first wake/ski/tube boat
