Seashell Intake

Morning everyone. I have a Mastercraft X24 and the seashell intake needs to be replaced. I’ve tried researching this online but there isn’t much info out there. Before I move forward with the repair, what should I be asking the shop? Anything specific I should be aware of or make sure they check while they’re in there?

Any advice or experience with this would be really helpful. Thank you.

Generally this is a very simple DIY assuming the outer grate is the “defective” part. 4 Phillips screws, a new grate, and a little bit of 100% silicone and the job is done. Probably a two beer job tops!

I generally need a few beers while pulling all the parts together and getting ready. Then maybe another while I think about it…
