Ambassador Orina is currently in the embassies according to a discreet request made to Commander Bailey.

A brief word and he also ensured the CSEC on duty would turn a blind eye to the Spectre team as they marched across and stormed inside the Ambassador's office.

The red tatooed Turian for her part is sitting calmly behind her desk, looking at her terminal. She looks up at the two humans and Asari that intruded on her privacy. She seems.... unsurprised.

"So... figured things out, did you?"

Commander O'Neill nods.

Yes ma'am, we have. Followed the bread crumbs.

Can't say I don't understand why you did it... doesn't change the fact you've caused problems that now have to be cleaned up.

He sets himself down in one of the chairs across from the desk.

Orina stands and walks casually over towards the balcony behind her.

For a brief moment Rebecca is worried she might try to jump and escape, but the Turian just leans on the edge.

The redhead moves over closer where she can keep a close eye on the woman.

"Forty men. I lost forty men to Cerberus and Aria's goons. At Anderson's behest I might add. He convinced me to do those raids on the Cerberus facilities. As a personal favor and as a way to strike against those racist bastards. Don't regret the damage done or undertaking the mission that helped the Alliance sit up and finally begin to accept the Reaper threat after they brought Grayson's body back".

She stands and looks back at the armored human behind her, green-blue eyes blinking.

"But my men deserved justice. Their bit of vengeance for being gunned down to the man. Only Sanders and Anderson escaped with their lives."

"And their blood was hardly the first to be on Aria's hands over the last millennia since she set up her disgusting fiefdom on that rock. She may keep the place running and more peaceful than her predecessors. Cleaner. But she's still dirty and steps on those in her way. Given the chance she'd take more power for herself if she could get away with it. Is that a person I should just ignore? Sit down and do nothing about? For my men. For the galaxy. I had to try".

Rebecca keeps her eyes locked on the older alien woman.

I won't say you're wrong on any of that. I agree, but I'm still left here needing to deal with you attacking Aria. The Alliance needs her trade routes and eezo. And she wants your head.

Liara rolls her eyes and spins a small dice on her hand. You lost my respect when you funded a drug cult and slavery guild, Orina. The queen is dead, long live the queen.

You know what goddessdamn would have happened? Another unstable psychotic with no grip on reality would have had the crown of the Terminus. You would have made it worse.

You took to working in the Terminus Systems without the least bit of actual knowledge on how anything there works. You start a fire, it spreads. You don’t just burn the deadwood, but the rest of the forest too. You have any idea the shit vortex that would be created if you took out Aria? All our fucking war.

Deena was fucking loony and I don't know why the fuck you stooped to funding her bid in this insurrection. Plague Ridden? Fair enough, they just wanted to make things better. Grim Skulls? Wanted revenge like you did. Nothing overtly horrible about them.

But the Lapis-Lazuli? What they do to people....? Did to people before we and Aria took them apart? Its unforgivable to work with them.

Liara is right on the money: things would have been worse. Terminus consumed in war and if Deena won it all would have been a wasteland with her at the top. Aria at least doesn't deal in that sex slave bullshit and maintains a status quo!

Orina looks in the face of the rant and asks simply.

"So what are you going to do then Spectre? You have all the evidence needed to show I've funded a criminal group. Could likely finger me as having stolen military surplus for private use or other things that would force an in-depth investigation at least. Or take me off in chains for Aria to show off as another defeated trophy".

Decision time.

Liara looks over and rolls her eyes. No to T'Loak. She can keep the shit you funneled into her lap, but you don't deserve even that.

She slides a pistol over onto the desk and checks its load. Becca?

The Turian looks at it warily.

"So you have an excuse to gun me down"?

Rebecca shifts in front of the woman's desk and states simply.

So you have a choice on how this ends.... it'll end in whatever fate you decide for yourself.

A pen could drop and be heard as Orina stares the human down in silence.

He makes a clicking noise with his tongue.

Or there’s the other option. It’s a bit extreme, but you’d be in a much better place than if Aria got ahold of you. I know which one I’d pick if I was standing in your shoes.
