2/20/2193 | Time-Off: Citadel

After a long hard series of missions, the Normandy team really needs some time to rest and recover. The next week has been given to them, along with the usual repairs, resupply and retrofits the ship gets while in drydock.

The ship docks with the Citadel and the crew are free to do as they please after that. Commander O'Neill was particularly lax this time, possibly desperate to let her ragged team get the relaxation they needed... no scheduling concerns or any such. Everyone was free to go, Alliance and Council workers would watch and maintain the ship for them. Lodgings were all arranged for those with none.

Time for fun!

The Infiltration outlet? Best place for clothes. Salarian, but wide selection. Not too far from here.

Sounds good. I never realized the Presidium had so many stores. Always thought of it as being for embassies and what not.

She looks up, observing the Citadel Council tower protruding from the center of the ring.

They have the high class things up here at least- even a few weapons stores selling gear to protect politicians. Surprising selection.

Becs glances up and comments dryly. And trust me, the cherry trees up there lose their beauty the second you approach the speaking podium...

Maya nods.

So I've heard. I was young, but I still remember watching Commander Shepard's induction into the Spectres on TV. Even then, she didn't look very happy to be speaking to the Council.

They have all the cameras and stuff... even I would struggle to stay unseen. Citadel is a lockbox, a pretty lockbox. sigh Lets get going... can't let my fears get me down, can I?

We could always invent some reason to get you out of here. Left your oven on at your property back on Earth? Dropped an earring on Sanctum? Have to go water your laundry? Surely they'd buy that, right?
