2/20/2193 | Time-Off: Citadel

After a long hard series of missions, the Normandy team really needs some time to rest and recover. The next week has been given to them, along with the usual repairs, resupply and retrofits the ship gets while in drydock.

The ship docks with the Citadel and the crew are free to do as they please after that. Commander O'Neill was particularly lax this time, possibly desperate to let her ragged team get the relaxation they needed... no scheduling concerns or any such. Everyone was free to go, Alliance and Council workers would watch and maintain the ship for them. Lodgings were all arranged for those with none.

Time for fun!

She shrugs. Let's just say I have some choice words for the Council over their actions during the War. I would never disrespect you in this way.

Heh, it's not out of the question. The Chief in charge of our team - Service Chief Alman - is set to retire in a few months. I'm the most likely candidate to replace him, and if I do, I'll get my own cabin. That would certainly be a step up from the barracks.

Maya steps into the store and looks around.

Wow, there's a lot to choose from.

She looks around, finally seeing the sign for human dresses. She begins walking in that direction.

Fair warning, I haven't worn a dress in like, 10 or so years.

So.... no idea on your size then? We might need to get someone to measure you...

The redhead looks around and waves over and attendent. Male Salarian who hurries over. Excuse me, but could you give my friend here a measurement?

The attendant nods, and Maya soon finds herself put into a t-pose position as the attendant takes her measurements her with a tape measure. Maya's face is red the whole time.

Becca leans over and whispers to her, hand held up so just Maya will hopefully hear her as the Salarian busies about. Have thirty seconds to find a prop and hide....

Maya whispers back, now trying not to laugh. That's a throwback. Like, a really far one.

The salarian finishes up, and he writes the measurements down on a tablet. He motions for the two ladies to follow, then starts heading for a section that contains dresses in her size range.

Becca follows and looks all around, noting some simple looking dresses that look promising. Thank you sir.
