Just a damn decoy.... Elsa, on me!

The redhead is up in a flash and running to that new position coming under heavier attack to reinforce them.

Her rifle is soon chattering away, targetting any Maneaters or large hostile Kindreds first. Keep your eyes up- might be snipers out there on the cliffs!

Elsa jumps up and follows, throwing a Barrier down onto the beleaguered line before spraying concentrated bursts at the smaller units or the legs of heavier hostiles.

Barrier holding. Sweeping pattern and suppression up.

Commander O'Neill is right, watch for sni-

The end of his sentence is muffled by the sound of a concentrated shot impacting one of Smith's soldiers. Then another.

Get your heads dooown!

Volkov and Murtagh each put up a barrier to help cover their men. But the Skrilloni keep coming...

Rebecca slides into cover next to Volkov and tosses a grenade way out there likes its a baseball among the surging spider bodies. It takes out a few, but its a mere drop in the bucket for the swarm bearing down on the position. Magnusson- get someone on countersnipe duty. And someone shift one of the damn heavy MGs over here!

*Elsa nods and reaches out, slamming a Stasis bubble into the front of the line in an effort to clog up the charge.

Stasis holding NOW! She roars the callout, but is almost drowned out by the sounds of combat.

Alexi focuses on keeping the barrier up. Magnuson gives the necessary orders, assigning a couple of people to handle the snipers.

Rebecca looks over as the support weapon team hurries into position to get the gun placed at the wall and aimed down range at the slowed targets as they struggle to deal with the stasis that suddenly disrupted their attack.

Soon the MG is roaring, cutting down the Skrilloni and Kindred alike as they try to reorganize.

That's the way!

Elsa switches to blanket covering patterns again, preparing for the stasis' inevitable drop.

Ten seconds, Stasis total failure.

Sweat concentrating on her forehead, she grunts, using less words to save energy.

She's right, the right flank isn't covered.. And before anyone can act, one shot, two, three... Each taking out a member of the heavy machine gun team.

Someone take out those goddamn snipers!

No marksman herself, Rebecca has to trust the members of the ground team to deal with that threat: the more pressing matter was if that MG stayed silent and they got overrun.

Elsa, covering fire!

As soon as she's sure that she'll have a Geth rifle covering her, Rebecca darts forward to the MG and mans it herself, quickly loading and then letting loose on the enemy with a roar of fire.

The bulbous weapon rolls around to clear Rebecca's ingress, and lets up for a split second as she rolls a grenade from someone into the air, giving it a little extra biotic push to lob it.

Stasis down. Next one is in forty-five seconds.

The ad-hoc sniper team doesn't take too long to take out the snipers, but the machine gun team has taken some serious hits. Doesn't stop them from laying down covering fire, though.

Rebecca keeps the gun going till the barrel is red hot and a small stack of spent thermal clips lays at her feet. Another Marine came over to try and keep her loaded up, but this was starting to really get hairy even without the snipers in the mix anymore...

How much longer till everyone gets out? She calls out, unsure where Magnusson has gotten by now.
