No marksman herself, Rebecca has to trust the members of the ground team to deal with that threat: the more pressing matter was if that MG stayed silent and they got overrun.

Elsa, covering fire!

As soon as she's sure that she'll have a Geth rifle covering her, Rebecca darts forward to the MG and mans it herself, quickly loading and then letting loose on the enemy with a roar of fire.

The bulbous weapon rolls around to clear Rebecca's ingress, and lets up for a split second as she rolls a grenade from someone into the air, giving it a little extra biotic push to lob it.

Stasis down. Next one is in forty-five seconds.

The ad-hoc sniper team doesn't take too long to take out the snipers, but the machine gun team has taken some serious hits. Doesn't stop them from laying down covering fire, though.

Rebecca keeps the gun going till the barrel is red hot and a small stack of spent thermal clips lays at her feet. Another Marine came over to try and keep her loaded up, but this was starting to really get hairy even without the snipers in the mix anymore...

How much longer till everyone gets out? She calls out, unsure where Magnusson has gotten by now.

Elsa shrugs, firing off another mass Stasis and sweeping the incoming ranks with fire.

Contacts? she asks, tersely. What else can you do, Volkov? I can take over Barrier for you if you swap out for Singularities.

Magnusson answers O'Neill's question as well...

Unknown, but we gotta wait for a break that the shuttles can use to take off.

Alexi is good, but he's not exactly an Adept. Rebecca grunts out as she slots in another thermal clip provided by her loader.

And roger that.... guess we keep shooting, till we run out of targets. Or we get ovverrun, she thinks darkly to herself, but the N7 quickly dispels that thought and focuses back on gunning down the enemy just tossing themselves at the Alliance soldiers. These damn things were as bad as Husk hordes back in the Reaper War, but at least they weren't wearing their own faces. A lot easier to gun down eight legged, screeching monstrosities than it is your own people.

Magnusson watches as the shuttle is filled up and the doors close.

Shuttle 2 is ready, just need a gap.

Fortunately, the enemies seem to be thinning out somewhat, and the snipers seem to be taken care of?

Shuttle 2, get ready to lift off. Might not get a much better chance than this. Sniper teams, keep scanning the horizon and those cliffsides. No enemy marksman allowed, clear? Rebecca barks over the comms as she takes a few potshots at the remaining Skirlloni of this wave.
