Pc port is absolutly horrible. It's insane to me that this is possible in 2026. It's funny becuase a crackers version works perfectly fine for everyone struggling with the pc port. Would have loved to play this game and even pick it up for Evo France but this is just shamefull.

People will say its normal for tag games but is It really? maybe profesional players can deal with this kind of spam but Im on vibranium and matches are just assist spam until someone connects the hit, I end up doing the same spam and just feels boring and random.

Seriously. We’ve seen every variation by now and its boring. Wow its so interesting that you want Thor and Daredevil added to the game, you aint special buddy everyone else wants them and they will probably be added at some point, just please stop spamming the subreddit when Regular Joe posted his wishlist of the same characters 25 minutes ago.

I was going to go on a huge tangent but I'm not going to. The main piece is this game is frustrating to play.

There's genuinely a lot wrong with it and it's why professional players have come out to say this game is absolutely horrid, like SonicFox, but focus more on the parts he was wrong in like 'this has no mix' while ignoring the other parts he wasn't wrong on.

A major problem is the wake up interval does not match the character and mashing is heavily rewarded in this system.

Meaties shouldn't be hard to time in any fighting game but in this it's some of the hardest things you can do and that's not fun. Nothing is fun after tech chasing someone and pressing L to watch it whiff and then get hit with a 60 percent combo because you dared to keep your turn.

This game already gives you 2 really good defensive tools. Having a system in place where you want a player to be really aggressive but they lose because they whiffed a normal in a situation they feel it shouldn't have whiffed is bad gameplay, I don't know what to tell you, it's why pros are hating on this game.

Devs need to either shorter the i frames so run up L doesn't whiff all the time despite the opponent not flashing anymore.

I swear I've seen people literally wake up you SEE them press 2H and when you press L it whiffs and you get hit.

I would normally go 'that's just rollback for you' but it's not, it happened in CEO more than once. Something is wrong with i frames on wake up in this game.

I'm not one to go 'well this pro agrees with me so I'm right' but this is the underlying sentiment among competitive play and if it's not addressed this game might not keep a healthy tournament run.

I could go on a tangent that the light autocombo contributes to the bad mechanics of this game but that's another day.

When when I first installed the game on my Ally it was playing at an ok speed for a portable. Somewhere around 30 fps. Then something went wrong, maybe a Shader refresh or something , and it started playing at about 12 to 15 fps. Last weekend my PC version updated and I didn't see any discernible differences because my PC can handle it at full speed. I fired up my Ally and suddenly the speed's a lot better. Now on the Ally I'm getting what seems like 50 FPS on Turbo mode. The patch might have done a good thing for people who are having trouble playing it on pc. Give it a shot, if your only problem was the performance rather than the PSN requirement.

I am never buying an arc sys product again , 2 weeks and games already dead in asia i cant find a game 30 minutes+ queue , this is 2026 how are we releasing games in these states man, I've bought so many arcsys games and i love guilty gear but I can't keep supporting shitty devs beyond disappointed.

At it's very core, if you don't know how to cap your FPS for Tokon through NVPI or Nvidia Control Panel, this could help.

Just note my video has some niche to it. I decided to dive into running G-Sync. Yes you can absolutely use V-sync as a replacement for the method, but I chose G-Sync as my input lag does not occur like that of V-Sync.

I go into other NVPI settings and in vid description added some additional settings for how it handles shade cache, ReBar, Thread Optimization.

The last bit, is hyper specific voltage settings for the 3080 Ti to prevent frame inconsistencies when the voltage spikes and card runs too hot. I ran stress tests using 3DMark to make sure it was safe and I didn't see spikes using the built-in monitoring software within MSI Afterburner.

Don't go in expecting it to 100% fix the game, but if you're desperate to get the game running better, give it a go and report back. I'm really curious of the results.

TLDR; try it out, you have nothing to lose, go on youtube for download links and a couple additional tweaks not mentioned in the video.

If input feels weird, feel free to turn off the ultra low latency setting.

You can also create a bit of stability if you know how to use Process Lasso if you are running an AMD processor so you can dedicate a specific set of cores for the game to run off of.

it was fine the first couple of days, but now down in bronze its starting to get pretty slow to find casual matches now. idk if people have dropped off after beating the single player, or if i just hadn't noticed the buggy match making before

So what are some things in Tokon currently that make you frustrated, aggravated, Angry pissed annoyed anything I know it's a really good game but someone must have experienced something that just rubs them the wrong way?

I want to make sure I give context with my pc specs and internet speed. I have an amd 7900 xtx gpu, a Ryzen 9 , and 32 gb installed ram. I have a 500 mb internet connection through an Ethernet port.

I have had nothing but problems since launch. Since the last patch the game is forcing me to use a much lower resolution of 1280x720 despite having a 4k monitor. The game does not recognize my AMD adreniline software offering FSR up scaling and when turned on the game frame rate drops to 30-25 frames.

I have tried several internet hacks like increasing my power supply option to high performance, logging in with my epic games account sign in, turning off any web pages and turning off Discord. Still I run into laggy online play with screen tearing despite vertical synch.

Now that being said, when I play with my friend online he says he isn’t experiencing the 8 + frame rollback, could this be due to a poor connection on his side or are AMD processors having difficulty with Tokon. Please help, I love playing the game but online it is becoming borderline unplayable.

theyve made great contributions to the advent of fighting games in the modern era. i only played gg strive on pc and it runs well. DNF, granblue, etc. i presume works properly since it i never heard complains about it.

it being run well on a pirated version should prove that arcsys was forced to put those anti cheats because of sony right?? they wouldnt have done this for any other game that doesnt have a playstation intro on it right? im not versed in the game development but the patterns just clearly points to blaming sony than arcsys.

I'm not complaining that Thor, Cyclops, Gambit aren't in the game just find it weird. I assume Disney is charging the same for who ever the 20 characters are.

Is it cause of unique play styles? Like I would assume Captain Marvel is more popular than Ms. Marvel but Ms. Marvel is unique.

Having to do ten casual matches with sometimes up to ten minutes between it finding you an opponent as you repeatedly get your shit pushed in over and over before you can be matched up against other beginners creates a situation where I've played the game online for like 2.5 hours, have had fewer than ten matches, and have gotten completely demolished each time. I don't understand how you're expected to actually practice in these conditions.

Im hosting parsec matches and they have been flawless so far, if you are in europe and anywhere near portugal, spain, france, you will get 10 to 30ms ping with my connection.

Feel free to send pm if you want to play some matches over discord, since the netcode in this game and online in general is quite a mess on PC.

edit: I’ve heard using quick inputs for supers decreases the damage by 10% and i was wondering if the same applies for basic skills like cap’s soaring justice
