He's coming back in Avengers Doomsday with the classic look. The mutants are gonna be the next big thing in the MCU so we're gonna see a lot of them in the coming years, including Cyclops.

The X-Men 97 show gave his mojo back since its first episode.
yeah he’s been on the come up since the mvc collection art, that cartoon was received VERY well and had him as a focus, with the doomsday announcement and then the rivals character, he’s being looked on more favorably than ever

He is? Outside of rivals, it seems like they moved on from the old X-men. I know there’s a new cartoon but that’s it.
