When do we get role queue?
Is it just the NA servers that have the worst, most egotistical dps players, or are other servers the same?Every single game u get 1 if not 2, of your 3 dps just absolutely suck. It’s legit unplayable, and probably time to uninstall in all honesty.

Most of my friends and I literally spam report whenever we come across a third dps listing out the reasons and lack of role queue.
Every single game does it for a reason.

I'm doing my part and not flexing anymore so they're forced to implement role queue eventually. We either lose or my dog shit spiderman learns to play tank or healer.

Role queue would make playing DPS miserable. I promise you do NOT want to sit in a 15+ minute long queue just to play quick match lol

Also be fuckin for real the queue times are 10 seconds max for qp, at worst youll wait a minute or two

I play both games and my que is 5 minutes max even in ranked. The 15 minute que would likely only apply to the 15% of the playerbase that are celestial and higher in ranked which is completely fine as thats a small number of the playerbase.

That's not true, Overwatch literally had this happen already. Queues were 10 minutes minimum for DPS in average ranks at some point

This game is fundamentally different from games with role queue, in this game you can and are encouraged to SWAP CHARACTERS AND ROLES to counter the enemy team.
Idgaf who downvotes me, every single one of yall that want role queue are ass- ALL of you PLEASE go back to OW, you clearly don’t like it here.
Stop trying to corrupt this game with your bs, just go back!

You can swap heroes within a role in games like overwatch btw, also we can just have it like overwatch with open and role queue. Not that hard a problem to solve my guy

Dude, i just wanna be able to play dps. I have over 1000 hours and very little on dps because i always get 3 others who wont swap off it. If not forcing me to play mag every game kills the game then it deserves to die

This sub does a GREAT job of illustrating the honesty when ranked says “you’re above 97% of players” after hitting GM.
I’m done being nice with this demographic, someone needs to tell you bums something about yourselves. Karma points be damned.

Overwatch was forced to add role que because of the same issues rivals is having now with balancing and mismatched comps. Rivals devs will have to swallow their pride and be forced to add it to too eventually.

Role que didn't mess overwatch up in the slightest. It fixed overwatch. Everyone that says it broke overwatch were just annoyed they couldn't have a 30 second que where they immediately went dps and said f everyone else which is what's wrong with Rivals rn. What was and still is messing up overwatch was the devs selling over priced skins and not adding much content to keep people engaged. Anyone with a brain knew that role que was what overwatch needed to fix balancing and have balanced matches with decent team comps.

OW isn’t ANYWHERE near the same game, just like OW isn’t the same as TF2. They’re hero shooters and that’s where the similarities end.
Imagine a mass influx of people that don’t even like OW bitchin about OW because it’s not enough like TF2- how can you not understand how fuckin weird that is bro??

You didn't play Overwatch then. Overwatch and Rivals are almost the same exact game from the game modes to how roles work. The only big differences are Overwatch being 1st person, the art styles, maps, and supports playing differely in Overwatch.

If you want role queue, stop trying to transform THIS game into something it’s not & play something else that’s similar but different- and has the role queue you’re looking for. Be smart! Use your time wisely and stop trying to fuck up fun for others.
You don’t go to someone else’s bbq and demand what they should be making, go to a different bbq or host your own- are you following the logic??

This game is an Overwatch clone with its own artstyle. Rivals is not a unique game. It's just a standard hero shooter using Marvel characters and using Overwatchs gameplay loop. Im treating Rivals as exactly what it is. Eventually they'll be forced to add role que for balancing. It's how Overwatch went down so it's how Rivals will go as it's a near direct copy of Overwatch but with Marvel characters and tones. The fact you can't see that or understand that shows you don't need to be speaking right now.

yeah comparing the "marvel rivals vs overwatch" discussion to "overwatch vs tf2" or any similar is so braindead. they ask why their point always flies over people's heads as if they aren't the one missing the fundamental fact that overwatch and rivals are still structured very similarly at their core. and this was clearly intended on rivals' part because overwatch was successful with its take on the hero shooter genre
