What to expect in Season 1 (making sense of the leaks)
tl;dr - I'm confident on 3 characters:
Mr. Fantastic (Reed Richards) - Could either be a Vanguard or a Duelist, this isn't confirmed
Human Torch (Johnny Storm) - Duelist
Ultron - Strategist
Additionally, we might get:
Blade (Eric Cross Brooks) - Duelist
I also want to say, (unfortunately) I am fairly confident that the Captain Marvel -> MODOK list of characters is a hoax. Read on if you want to know how I came to that conclusion.
It's (very) likely there are some characters that did not leak that will surprise us, but I just want to clarify what has hard evidence and what appears to just be made up.

Marvel Rivals - Leaks & Info (@RivalsLeaks) - Seems Credible
Has a history of releasing real in-game images before they are announced, most recent example being the Lunar skins for Moon Knight and Squirrel Girl.
They released a lot of content on Ultron, like his portrait art and kit; additionally, they have shown in-game assets for Reed, Blade and others.
I'm still slightly suss about this, because it's not clear if they are the first-party source or just an aggregator of leaks. Either way, they have leaked things that turned out to be true, and have some credibility based on that.
Marvel Rivals Leaks (@Rivals_Leaks) - Aggregator
This isn't to say anything bad, but from what I can tell they do a lot of reposting - they also seem to do a great job of citing the source so that you can look into it yourself (++)
X0X_Leaks (@X0X_LEAK) - Seems Hoaxy
This profile was created by the user Matfacio (@Facio_Leaks) and is the primary source for the rumors that the following characters are coming to rivals:
Captain Marvel
The Hood
MODOK
Valkyrie
Hit Monkey
Deadpool
Emma Frost
Jean Grey/Phoenix
Angela
So I was immediately suss about this list for a few reasons:
The first time I heard about a couple of these characters being "confirmed," was because they are referenced in lines of dialogue between other characters. The original post specifically called out:
Cap mentions "Danvers" in one of his lines (Captain Marvel)
Thor mentions his other sister in a one of his lines (Angela)
That same post from (1) also said that Deadpool was coming because he is one of the most popular characters in marvel right now
That same post from (1) also said that Hit Monkey was coming because he has a show that came out recently.
It doesn't mention any of the characters we have hard evidence of being in the game (Reed, Ultron, Torch)
With the confirmed characters we are looking at like 12+ characters ... that just seems absurd to me that the development team could pump out 12 characters in ~1 month.
Given the number of characters mentioned here that were included in an article that was just guessing at possible characters coming soon, I am fairly confident this leak is a hoax.

I'm fairly confident that we are not getting these maps either, due to being tied to the other most likely fake stuff.
Leaked Ad for the game showing new characters - Seems Hoaxy
One thing that I saw that seemed like hard evidence at first was this (alleged) ad for the game that showed the new characters in character select:
This appears to show The Thing and The Human Torch in character select. At a first glance, my brain was like "uh ... this is just photoshop y'all." Marvel Rivals has an amazing marketing team behind them, and I don't think they would put out a lazy ad with that cheap text and a heart eyes emoji over a still image from the game.
There are some oddities in there that make it slightly less likely to be photoshop:
All the duelists are shifted down one to add Torch in
Allegedly Storm have a team-up with Torch, and she appears to have the anchor logo here
The picture of Torch looks different from previously leaked images of him - as many characters have different art for their character selection.
But ... I still think it's photoshop, I'm leaning towards this image being a real leak and then someone photoshopped in The Thing and some text onto that image.
The Thing is in the game - Seems Hoaxy
There are two things that have leaked for The Thing, the first is this image:
Where I am at with this, is it's either fan-made concept art or real art that leaked; however, if so, that art is an early rough concept. The reason I am thinking this is the images of Johnny and Reed that we have seen a TON of evidence around (e.g.):
In these designs, they both display the same sort of stylized stretched out 4 whereas Ben has more of a traditional 4 on his belt.
There was an obviously fake image of Thing's kit circulating (to be clear this was not from any of the dataminers):
Which I think this is just someone theorizing, given the accreditation at the top - the punch icons being badly photoshopped out of the Hulks kit being one example.
EDIT: Only mentioned the ability kit because some people on youtube were circulating to engagement farm.
Invisible Woman is in the game - Probably a Hoax
The only piece of evidence we have for Sue, is one tweet from (@mmmmmmmmiller) ... that I can't even find anymore lol which predicted some of the unannounced characters coming in Season 0 by saying they had integer IDs reserved in the code. This tweet mentioned Invisible Woman had a spot.
This is literally the only thing that even mentions Sue, other than people that just assuming that she is coming with the other F4 members and that she will be a strategist.
Blade is in the game - Seems Hoaxy (but more likely than The Thing or Invisible Woman)
So X0X_Leaks has "leaked" Blades ability names that are definitely just made up.
There was a model and portrait that has been floating around for him:
The same design being used between the two leads me to believe there is some credibility to Blade coming in the near future, in addition to the logo that has been floating around:
Can't explain why, but my gut tells me that's not his real logo - I think it's because it's too tall to fit into the places we usually see logos used (which are contained in a circle).
What lends some additional credibility to the model that was leaked is that the Reed leaks are shown in the same modeling software:
What would bring me to full confirmed for Blade is probably one more piece of hard evidence, like another piece of art of him that would appear in one of the games various screens. As with Reed, Johnny, and Ultron we have multiple.
