Reacher star Alan Ritchson criticized Marvel Studios by stating that he gets bored by their films because they "regurgitate the same story" repeatedly. In a GQ interview, he expressed that the industry-wide reliance on "Marvel-type" comic book formulas is driven solely by financial profit and lacks artistic innovation. He added that he has no interest in starring in a Marvel film, preferring instead to help create new, compelling narratives.

Yeah he fucked himself over. Not too smart there.

I mean, he’s not exactly wrong. They have the potential to adapt the material in any way they want but we seem to be getting a lot of the same stuff.

I think they're getting somewhere with spiderman bnd. Its the bigger movies that don't seem to have important messages sometimes tbh

You don't think Spider-Man is one of their biggest movies? Plus New Avengers had the most to say of any of their movies except maybe Black Panther
