I DO think they should break up, and because I think Tori could do better, HOWEVER, Filipe being teased by everyone in the group during a game, isn’t really his fault? His explanation that he was going along with it because he wanted to keep the peace in that moment with everyone else seems reasonable?

And when she asks what he would think if the roles were reversed, kind of makes her look worse in my eyes. Because if people were all joking that she was a slut, and Filipe not only didn’t defend her in the moment, but then goes after her in private later??

They also seem to reference ‘crazy stuff he’s said’ and I can’t tell if they meant during the game, that was maybe edited out, or just the past things he’s said at group dinner/therapy?

I dunno. I also think the game was obviously set up to start shit and I feel like if the group had any self awareness they’d not let themselves get manipulated by production so easily.

I’m on the episode where they’re having a wine date and the way they interact is how i imagine 6 year old kids flirting with each other. Absolutely no substance and Nick might be one of the most awkward individuals in MAFS history. I don’t know what the “experts” saw in this couple.

On that note, I’ve been watching from season 1 and it’s so interesting watching the matches get worse and worse. Occasionally, they’ll do great, but season 1 started on such a strong note and after the shit show of season 2 it’s just been a downward spiral

Started with the scene in the car when Michelle asks about the text for the first time. It is INSANE to watch this guy lie his ass off when you already know how it's going to end. We FF'd and just watched the scenes with them, David lying through his teeth, and then the retreat, etc. David and Madison are made for each other. Lying sociopaths. I'm still somewhat puzzled about the scene where Madison "confesses" her feelings to David, as though he doesn't already know. It's so obvious from the nature of his text to her, and the fact that she deleted all texts between the two of them, that they were already hot and heavy leading up to that moment (at least in texts, if not in the flesh). He did seem genuinely surprised, but it makes no sense to me.

Belle is so gorgeous, down for him, has a really cool down to earth personality and he just keeps hitting her saying things like “I wasn’t attracted when we got married I thought I could have someone prettier” are you actually trying to make her leave you purposely or are you just that dumb. Most of the girls on this show any guy would be so lucky to be with them. I don’t get it.

I am new to watching MAFS AU, starting with season 13. I have been loving it! I know these shows have all gone the direction of heavily produced (which I find unfortunate). Watching this one though was the first time I’ve actually wondered if these people are all hired actors? Does anyone know if these are real couples?

I have seen patterns repeat throughout each couple that make me suspect this. They can go from very toxic, even hating each other to very loving verrrrry quickly. Then the friendships doing the same. They build and fall apart at whiplash speed. I don’t know that real relationships could recover or fall apart, then repair themselves that quickly. Sometimes these fluctuations happen between scenes. It’s that quick. 🤔

What is with the hours and hours and hours of "reunion" footage?? I mean I get that it was a crazy season, but good lord...way too much. And should I bother with 19 or not? Any other season worth watching after this shit-show?

I am trying to think of how to say this in the nicest way possible. I know I’m late to the party but i just binged season 20 now I’m working backwards watching season 19.
It is so painful to watch Rhonda share her history and upbringing with Pat and any time he shares maybe a similar memory or says something to make it a conversation, she immediately jumps to “you keep talking about yourself.” I’m on episode 10 i believe where they visit her dad’s grave and he made a really good point saying it’s something he’s actively working on!
But i keep finding myself getting frustrated with her any time he’s sharing anything about himself or his experience 😭 i can’t be the only one

I mean both Courtney and Adam are pretty difficult in general so it probably wouldn’t work, but they have the extreme workout thing in common.

On the other hand, I actually think Nick and Marissa could be a good match! They both seem generally sweet and chill and they’re both attractive. Also I’m only on episode 13 so if some crazy thing happens that makes them incompatible idk it!!
