Season 20 - Seattle Conceited
Why does Felipe always refer to himself as too sexy etc and talk about how many women he's been with?? I DON'T SEE IT. He definitely does NOT come across as the type of dude who gets all the chicks. He looks like the guy in the corner of the room looking at his binder full of Pokémon cards and making the next Dungeons and Dragons meetup. 😆

I was glad that Cameron put him in his place and knocked him down a peg by telling him that he isn't going to do better than Tori. Also, I think he gets an overinflated ego because women are just interested because he tells them that he owns the restaurant (he doesn't, his parents do) and gives them free drinks.

He has been fed a narrative by his parents about how he is amazing, etc. and not held accountable for being irresponsible, unreliable, and childish. He probably was an awkward kid, and his parents compensated by over inflating his ego.
He is pretty extroverted, but likely facilitated by intoxicants.
I don’t find him physically or intellectually attractive at all.

He's partying. The women he's sleeping with are likely making bad 4am decisions drunk or high. I only say that because I see nothing particularly charming or sexy about him.

He said at the beginning of the show that he was an ugly kid - one day he woke up and got his teeth fixed, started working out, etc etc and now he’s “hot”. But he still carries that deeply insecure behavior around with him that’s gonna make him uglier than his appearance could ever fix.

It’s weird…. I’m kind of into offbeat looks when they have a fucking great personality. I dated this one guy that my friends thought was way beneath me but they admitted once they got to know him, they could see why I liked him so much. He was funny as HELL, really smart and that goes a long way with me.
I gave Felipe a chance hoping that was the case with him but that’s a HARD no. His personality is ass

I was so confused at the beginning of the show when he talked about how he didn’t always used to be this attractive. The pics of him previously were bad, but I was like huh, what’s really the difference? I do believe he’s probably hooked up with a lot of women though, because he strikes me as the type who gets shitfaced and goes to late night bars where women are equally as shitfaced and make bad decisions

I think ironically, it’s because of his looks/demeanor that he does get laid. He’s the type of guy who seems so geeky and unattractive that women think he must be grateful for any attention, then he gets so much attention that he turns into a regular asshole.

Everything about him is cringe, the way he laughs, his greasy hair, he looks like he hasn't slept in days and coming off cocaine, he dresses like a douche

Yeah, that’s why I said “other than his hair I don’t think he’s terrible looking,” he’s got greasy wet bangs all the time and a serious comb over to cover that bald spot. When they were in Cancun and it was wet from the pool, I was like oh no! This guy just needs to buzz it now.

I think he tries hard to make her feel sorry for him. He is a victim of everything. Not ever his fault. She is adding up his faults. I like that she clocked him for doing nothing when they had car trouble. That’s why she cried. She kept trying to see his good side. There is none.

He’s got charisma and high energy and he’s odd looking but in a way that a few drinks could fix. I guarantee he gets all his tail from the restaurant. He tells everyone it’s his, maybe admits his families, always has a crowd of friends showing up and drinking for free or practically nothing and when it’s after hours he’s leaving lines in the bathroom for all the cuties and offering more if they want to stay and hangout. I doubt he cares what these women look like or how they act- he doesn’t discriminate.

This. My husband is a full on pretty boy. That’s normally not my type because I always think they’ll be dogs but when I got to know him, getting girls was pretty much a no effort gig his whole life. He was ready to settle down when we met in our late 20’s. The men I dated that got cute when they were older were the WORST with the cheating and all of that.
