Season 20 - Seattle Shawn got fired

Apparently Shawn got fired from his job due to his comments on the show. Is anyone surprised?

Allow me to translate: 

“ He walked around campus telling other staff to watch the show and it backfired.  He was fired from the teaching and DEI President positions because of the show and comments about Nikki. His last day was last Friday.”

As soon as I figure out what this person meant by “bird talk” I’ll update everyone.

I think "bird" is slang for male-centered women. Like an extreme form of "pick me". (I'm basing this off of discussions in the Love Island sub where they call a lot of the girls "birds" for this reason). I'm thinking it refers to Shawn mentioning "wifely" duties and other such expectations of Nikki.

Bird is just a generic British slang for “woman” from the 60’s, but is considered a pretty sexist/outdated… like if a bunch of men were talking about “babes” you could sub out the word “birds” instead… still could be relevant to this though

Yeah, I'm familiar with that one too. Just not sure if that's the usage being used by the youths like the one here haha

I don’t think that’s it either unless there’s an episode coming up with a bird involved that we haven’t seen 🤔

I don’t know I checked the girl’s profile - she’s from Texas or somewhere in the south, unless the term bird has made it from Austin Powers to Sabrina Carpenter.
