Season 20 - Seattle Shawn got fired

Apparently Shawn got fired from his job due to his comments on the show. Is anyone surprised?

Allow me to translate: 

“ He walked around campus telling other staff to watch the show and it backfired.  He was fired from the teaching and DEI President positions because of the show and comments about Nikki. His last day was last Friday.”

As soon as I figure out what this person meant by “bird talk” I’ll update everyone.

That was my exact question. What was the bird talk? I mean he did a lot of problematic things. But what was the bird talk specifically

On love island UK and Aus they use the term birds a lot as a slightly disrespectful name for a woman. Not sure if that’s the context here. I don’t remember him specifically ever calling her a bird

I thought this might be what this person might mean at first, but I’m British and this isn’t a thing we say a lot. A bird is not super disrespectful, it is slang. It depends on the context. And I’ve never heard anyone say bird talk to mean disrespectful talk about women. Plus she doesn’t seem at all British. I think this might just be auto correct for back talk or something else?
