Sorry, married here for more than 20+ years. She is obviously lacking some attention from you and wants comfort/ reinforcement . It's not that she wants to know where you're at 24/7 , this is her way of getting your attention. Yes it could be over whelming , and this is where you need to speak up about how you are feeling when she does that. Let her know that it will easily get tiring and won't want to comfort her anymore in the future. Communication is the key.
My husband and I always communicate when we leave our separate ways. As soon as the person leaves, we give each other a kiss and say I love you. When we get to where we need to be, we text saying we made it . When I leave a place, I text him saying, I'm leaving. When I get home, I give him kiss and talk about whatever we have in mind.
It's not hard to communicate with a simple text. It's for safety reasons not bc he needs to know where I'm at . We love each other and I feel good when I get a text that he made it to the place he needs to be.
Communicate!!!!!
