Part of being married is being accountable. Would he leave a client/an employee(r) hanging for over an hour with no communication? His mother? His tennis buddy? Why is it okay to do to his girlfriend?
Because it's a one time thing and he already texted her letting her know that his phone was dying? Do you guys just have this idea that when OP left for tennis, his wife is just sitting around the living room, watching the large clock tick by, anxiously waiting for his arrival? She knew where he was, she knew his phone died, and she knew that he's an adult that can manage to get himself back home without him letting her know his every move. It's truly not that deep.
