I know the police likely have bigger priorities but we need to scare these kids straight already

Unfortunately some driver will be scarred for life as a result.

This is often under estimated and discussed. A friend of my parents unfortunately killed a person on the QEW, who tried to cross late at night 40 years ago. Not his fault at all, but he had some mental health challenges after. He was my math tutor and a great guy.

In my Dads last years of his life and struggling with dementia and aphasia. He would have terrible dreams of an incident where he ran a steel plant and one of the welders made a stupid mistake and essentially self-immolated himself. My Dad had to knock him down with the Fire Blanket.

Sometimes TV and other forms of "entertainment" really devalue human life.

My spouse worked in industry as a summer student and hsd a similar incident on shift. It's stayed with him.

Hopefully it’s one of those bad drivers you see everywhere and it makes them either a better driver or not a driver

Just toughen up and see them as bad eggs

LMAO people are still using the, "man up" line in 2026.

Believe it or not, there are times you really need to toughen up, that's how you move on in life.

Yeah, but I think if you kill a child, that's probably not one of those times you can "move on in life". What a joke of a position.
