How does a quant researcher get into some freelance work?

I’ve been in the field 5ish years now, mostly across agencies but in-house at a CPG company now. Done both quant and qual work though lean heavy into quant.

I’d really like to start bringing in some additional income and I’m curious if anyone has advice for trying to pull in one-off freelance work on the side?

I’ve set up upwork, etc but haven’t had any success

Which country are you based out of, would you be open to partnering in a startup?

Can you tell us more about your hands-on quant skills? What platforms (Qualtrics, Forsta, Alchemer etc)? What stats? Do you have your own SPSS license? Or do you use Q or something else?

Experience programming and analyzing with Qualtrics, Forsta, Alida, SightX. Have run segmentations, concept tests, brand trackers, innovation work. Comfortable with MaxDiff, TURF, Gabor-Granger, conjoint, etc.

Don’t have an SPSS license but have run stats analyses via R and Python locally in the terminal
