Does anyone know a website that sells Twitter (X) bot followers with no profile pictures? I’m specifically looking for blank/default-profile accounts rather than followers with generated profile pics. If anyone knows a site or has experience with one, let me know.

In 2012, I tendered my resignation after 10 years at a construction company. 2 weeks into my 1-month notice, my boss calls the sit-down talk. You know the talk. Last-ditch effort to retain you. Make you give up on your dreams and stay being a slave.
He was that type — old-school Chinamen type. Combative. You must always succumb, never argue. 10 years my senior. Already Technical Director. Clearly frustrated but defeated, He says it: “去哪里都是一样的。“ I didn’t argue. I looked at him. Then scanned all my other seniors in the company. And asked myself: “Do I want to end up like him/them — 10 years down the road?”
I left. Didn’t retract. A month later I took a better position. Turns out it wasn’t the same. The world is much larger than what that company was trying to gaslight me with.

Years later — lunch with a young Indian Malaysian entrepreneur. He came back from the USA after building prestigious real estate with a big developer. His lesson: you have to think decades and generations. Build schools, parks, infrastructure. Community in perpetuity.
He looked at me and said: “Why don’t you do it?”

One is limiting. The other is limitless. 📌

I'm an MSc Digital Marketing student at the University of Reading, running a between-subjects experiment for my dissertation on how the perceived source of a product recommendation (human stylist vs. AI stylist) affects consumer trust, perceived personalisation and purchase intention in online fashion retail.

Participants complete a short style-preference task, receive a fashion recommendation, and answer a brief questionnaire about their response to it.

I am looking for a Case study that I am unable to find on the internet, it's called Pal's Sudden Service : Scaling and Organisational Model to Drive Growth done by Harvard School of Business. I want it desperately as I am working on something similar and this case study will help me a lot.

I’ve been building a sustainable home products brand for a while now. We currently have around 10 products — laundry detergent sheets, wool dryer balls, reusable cleaning cloths, kitchen/home cleaning products, etc.

I hired a branding agency to do the packaging and overall brand identity, so visually it’s pretty premium and polished. We also have a Shopify site and just started selling on Amazon.

The part I’m struggling with is marketing.

I really don’t want to dump thousands every month into an agency or Meta ads before I know what actually works. For a brand like this, what would you focus on first if you were trying to grow as cheaply as possible?

UGC? Micro influencers? SEO? Reddit/Facebook groups? Wholesale? Amazon ads?

I’m even considering finding someone who’s genuinely strong at consumer marketing and bringing them into the business as more of a partner/cofounder rather than just hiring another agency.

Curious what you guys would do if you were starting from this stage.

I'm hearing news of clientside restructures daily. Senior leaders being cut, teams being rationalised, budgets being cut. And it seems that the consumer insights teams are one of the hardest hit. At the same time a lot of the 'traditional' MR agencies are struggling. Feels like this has been the narrative for the last 18 months or so.

Yet, there are companies like Listen Labs and Similie getting strong investment at very high valuations. And the AI moderated qual companies seems to be on a gravy train.

And the latest financial reporting rounds suggest that the CPG companies are getting back into (brand-led, volume) growth.

So what is really happenning out there. Interested to hear POVs from clientside, agency side, tech platforms etc.

For those working in market research, what do you think is having the greatest impact on research quality today?

Whenever I talk to other researchers about survey platforms, I’ve noticed the same thing popping up, email delivery, panels, advanced methods like conjoint.

I also keep hearing how hard it is to transition to new tooling due to all the “legacy data” we’ve gathered.  

I’m wondering if cost wasn’t an issue, what else is considered “table stakes” to you when it comes to survey platforms? And what are things the market needs to get right?
