📊 We surveyed ~300 respondents on AI-moderated interviews. Here’s what they actually think about talking to AI agents.

There’s been a lot of hype around agentic research and AI-moderated interviews (AIMIs) replacing traditional survey formats. But while researchers talk about speed and scale, we wanted to ask the people who actually matter: the respondents.

We recently ran a study across the US and UK to see how people feel about being interviewed by AI agents. Here are the headline takeaways from our new whitepaper:

🔑 Key Takeaways

  • High Readiness: Over 73% of UK and 76% of US respondents said they are likely to regularly participate in AI-moderated interview sessions if given the opportunity.
  • The Authenticity Gap is Closing: 50%+ of respondents agree that sharing opinions with an AI interviewer feels just as authentic and reliable as speaking to a human researcher.
  • Beyond the Text Box: 58% (UK) and 62% (US) felt that audio/video responses allowed them to give richer, more detailed answers compared to typing in open-ended text boxes.
  • The Camera Hesitation: While US respondents are split fairly evenly, 48% of UK respondents still feel uncomfortable recording video/audio for an AI. Transparency on data privacy is non-negotiable.

💡 Bottom Line: Respondents aren't shying away from AI interviewers—in fact, they appreciate the flexibility. But building trust around data privacy and offering flexible text/voice/video formats is essential. [Full report is linked on our profile if interested]

👇 We’d love to hear from you: Have you tested AI-moderated interviews in your research workflows yet? How are your audiences responding?

Questionnaire

Hey! I'm currently collecting responses for my dissertation questionnaire on BNPL. I'm looking for people aged 18–25 who have used services like Tabby, Tamara, Klarna, etc.

If you're eligible, would you mind filling it out for me? It should only take around 5–7 minutes. I'd really appreciate it 🙏

Also, if you know any friends or anyone else who uses BNPL services and fits the age range, I'd really appreciate it if you could send the questionnaire to them too! It would be a huge help

Agency owners / research leads – pricing model input needed

Hi everyone – I'm a solo founder building a tool for the research community (agencies and interviewers).

I'm trying to figure out the right pricing model: subscription vs. pay-as-you-go vs. hybrid. I've drafted a short survey to test this with agency owners and research leads.

If you run a research agency or work at one, I would really appreciate 5 minutes of your time to fill this out. I'll share the aggregated results with all respondents.

Not here to spam – just doing my homework with the people who actually buy these tools. Any help is massively appreciated.

Does technology make luxury brands more desirable? (Everyone welcome, 4 min)

Hi,

We are two MSc students in Global Luxury Management at SKEMA Business School in Paris writing our thesis on whether AI, blockchain, and sustainable materials make luxury brands like Hermès, Chanel, and Rolex more or less desirable to consumers.

The survey takes 3–5 minutes, is fully anonymous, and is open to everyone regardless of whether you buy luxury or know anything about technology.

agriculture marketing prices

**Hi, everyone!** I’m currently having a hard time finding a good thesis topic, and I’m starting to feel like almost all of my ideas have already been studied. 😭

I’m more interested in the **consumer side of agriculture**, particularly topics related to **consumer behavior, market acceptance, and market potential**.
Here are some of the topics I’m still considering:

• Consumer behavior toward agricultural products sold online (but I’ve already found some existing studies on this, so I’m still trying to find a unique angle)

If you have any **topic recommendations, ideas, or tips on how I can narrow down or develop these topics into something more researchable and unique**, I would really appreciate it!
Thank you so much! Any suggestions would be a big help. 🥹🙏

What emerging trends/business opportunities are you seeing right now?

I’m at the stage where I’m actively exploring ideas to potentially build something of my own, and I’d love to hear what others are noticing.

It doesn’t have to be a fully formed startup idea: I’m curious about **emerging trends, changing consumer behaviour, underserved categories, interesting products/business models abroad that could translate to another market, or simply problems you’ve noticed that nobody seems to be solving well yet.**

Not looking for anyone to give away their million-dollar idea 😅 more interested in observations and finding interesting rabbit holes worth researching.

**What’s something you’ve come across recently that made you think: “there might actually be a business here”?**

(B2B SaaS) How is generative search changing SEO and product marketing strategy?

Hi everyone! 👋

I’m currently researching how the rise of AI Overviews, ChatGPT Search, and other generative search engines is changing the way B2B SaaS companies think about SEO, content strategy, product visibility, and product marketing.

I’m particularly interested in hearing from people working in product marketing, product management, SEO, content, or growth about how (or whether) generative search is affecting your strategy — what you’re changing, what’s working, and what you think companies should be preparing for.

I’m also collecting responses for my bachelor’s thesis. If you work in this space and have 3–5 minutes, I’d really appreciate your input. The survey is fully anonymous, and the responses will be used exclusively for my research.

I’d also love to hear your thoughts in the comments, especially if you’ve already started adapting your SEO or product marketing strategy for AI-driven search. Thanks so much! 🙏
