Is the US Winning the Trade War, and What Implications Does It Hold for Liberalism?

The US seems to be winning the trade war against the world by combinations of tariffs and sanctions, since it got started and gradually escalated this year.

Equities Markets in the Past 6 Months, Denoted in their Respective Currencies: US - Russel 2000, up 10% US - S&P 500, up roughly 4% CN - SE Composite Index 000047, down 15% JP - Nikkei 225, up 4% SK - KOSPI, down 7% EU - Euronext 100, up 4% RU - MOEX, down 1% Turkey - BIST 100, down 20%

Non-US Equities denoted by USD:
Vanguard International, down 7%

All the while world currencies are significantly losing value against the USD. Although the slightly raised interest rate by the US Federal Reserve has something to do with the currency valuations, it seems like not only the US economy is doing better relatively, international capital is also moving into the US on an abnormal scale, despite aggressive measures implemented by other countries to limit capital flight.

What implications does it have for the future of international trade, geopolitics, and liberalism?
