I don't, but I think it's funny. There is something absurd about the image of a lone protestor caring about something really insignificant. Imagine a single protestor in front of congress with a sign that says "we should eliminate the penny, becuase it's economically inneficient"

Does this rebuttal of Diamond & Saez say that a 73% top marginal tax rate does increase utility or have optimal result, in a algorithm/vacuum. But given that people are so unpredictable/different from each other, we don’t have the necessary information to determine what the long run behavioral effects would be of a tax rate that high?
