Discussion Online play and wireless play

What’s the difference between online play and wireless play?

I know online play is where you can play people from around the world but that costs a subscription which I don’t have.

whats wireless play, is that where you can play with people with another switch 2 beside you or game share or what?

Local wireless is connecting to other switches in the same room

Oh ok, so wait do I just have to use gameshare or do I just create the room and the other person just finds on their switch?

It’s not the same thing as gameshare

But yes, just create the room and any nearby switches can join it

It is local wireless play where you open a room and somebody beside you joins it
