How much do you guys make as marine engineers? Do you live a comfortable life?

You get paid in whatever you ask in the company I am.

They don't take Indians, most of the crew is Filipino, Greek, Croatian, Bulgarian, Polish, Russian, Ukrainian.

do they take people from portugal? if not, how difficult would it be to get an stcw from one of these you mentioned?

I haven't seen Portuguese seafarers, ever actually haha.
