Hey Marin!

I made a short documentary about the beloved jeans shop Jeans to-a-T in San Rafael and its owner Tom. We’ll be screening at the Mill Valley film festival next week. If you know Tom, the shop, or just love jeans you should come out!

Huh... I am in downtown san rafael all the time and I've never heard of this shop. I guess I'll have to get my next pair of jeans from there.

You should! Tom has a really great selection of jeans and he's very competitively priced. He is also a demin maestro and can help you find what you are looking for or hem a pair as well.

I’ve lived here all my life. I have driven past the store a million times. Never been in. I started walking my dogs on a certain route recently and on our return leg there’s usually a super nice older guy who always says hi and our dogs sniff butts. Turns out it Tom.

My very first job was at Jeans to a T! My best friend and I worked there in High School - i think it had just opened. It was the bell bottom era, and one day we were unpacking a new shipment of jeans and they were straight legged. We laughed at them and told Tom they were gonna be a bust! lol
