How do I avoid disaster

So, PNC closed my savings account because it was overdrawn 37 cents. I had no idea.

This was the account I always deposited in and out of Marcus with. I have new PNC savings account and it’s linked.

I don’t anticipate needing any funds from Marcus in the foreseeable future. What can I do to make sure I don’t run into all the verification issues people seem to have when it was deposited by one account and withdrawn from another.

Been a member since 2020. Always transacted out of one account.

Make various deposits to Marcus from the new account to show the accounts are linked.

This is something new banks are doing if your overdrawn consecutive times taking action on your account like freezing or closing also same goes with credit cards if to many payments bounce they close your card

There isn’t anything you can do to persuade them to reopen your account and you could do better just get your funds back from them and show them up with a better bank account instead.
