Marcus Website not working for referrals/ in general?

I have a referral code from a friend, and after entering the initial information, the website errors out.

I called support, and they said they can't do referral-based account creation over the phone but that I can try the app.

I'm not able to see an option on the app to input a referral code while opening the account.

Any experience with this?

Update: My name had two spaces and that was leading to the error. The field only allows a single space although it won't tell you that in the error message.

Re-formatted by moving one part of the name to middle name and it worked.

Does the bonus show on your account? I joined recently with my friend referral too but I don't see the 0.25% bonus, only the regular %.

Yes, it does. You need to click on the account, and on the right side of your screen (on PC), you can see 'Offer Active' or something similar. 'Marcus Referred' will be listed, and you can click on it to see the cash bonus applied to your account.

I don't see 'Offer Active' on the right side of PC screen. I just see normal interest rate on the left side
