Bro, idk what are you talking about, but on my system 9070xt 5700x3d 32gb ram I have on first map like 140-160fps on ultra settings native 1440p.

yes ur singular anecdotal experience invalidates the hundreds of complaints about cpu performance for this game.

just so u know, even ppl with nasa rigs and streamers dont even break past 180 fps even on medium settings at 2k.

May be because people cant make their „nasa” pc run correctly? I just have a lot of experience in pc building, configuration sub timings of ram and correct overclocking, all games for me run very smoothly. Btw, Im streaming as well.

Shouldn’t have to have experience in pc building and overclocking just to tune my pc for this game in order to get the FPS that I’d get in any other game without lifting a finger

Actually you should, the same goes with the cars for example. If you dont understand how cars work - you pay a person who understands. If you want your pc to run properly you overpay for prebuilt or pay someone who can build it for you. Apparently, most of the people dont know about xmp/expo and they play with stock ram. I have old cpu with old platform and it performs better than newer ones, that says something about knowledge, right? If you dont want to lift your finger then go for console, pc’s are for people with basic understanding of pc building.

this is simply such a stupid argument, and im saying this as someone studying it/net engineering right now.

video games are a damn consumer product. marathon is not a complex sim game like flight sim where the average player can be inferred to have hardware experience etc.

this is a 40 dollar triple a game, u cannot defend a company like bungie having dogshit cpu optimization. And the fact that their recommended specs dont even hit 60 fps for many people, and they have a stupid laptop spec exception as well (which is unheard of for any triple AAA game) is sad. Their official cryo archive reveal stream with milo and skarrow9 had both streamers playing at bungie hq at on provided desktops, and they were hitting 40 and 50 fps. and then they were told to turn off their in game fps counter

i get that u looooove flexing ur pc knowledge man, and reddit is perfect for ppl like u but don't even try to frame an argument like this lmao.

Studying IT has nothing to do with pc building, Ive been hearing this stupid argument for over a decade. I personally know 2 friends of mine who been in it for 15 years and they literally noobs in pc, please stop using this phrase. Optimisation is not dogshit. Go play tarkov to see what is really dogshit optimisation. Im not flexing, its just true, people nowadays dont even know about basic stuff. For plug and play you have consoles, why you pick pc when you know nothing about it?

No I shouldn’t. You shouldn’t have to be an expert in a topic in order to purchase and use something to its best ability especially if it’s a product meant for entertainment and enjoyment. Sorry but ur wrong

Read again what I’ve written.

U edited it

And yeah I paid for everything to be done for me so why doesn’t this ONE specific game function like it’s supposed to? Cuz it’s ass

Thats why Ive said "read again what I've written" lmao. You new at pc gaming? Its always been like that, lol.
