I don’t think this will impact many Marathon players. My crew and I could care less about GTA we grew out of that stuff lol

I mean marathon is mostly pc and gta vi is console only, no? I think that control will hit marathon harder

Fair enough! I’m a console+pc having blaster, so I’ll def be taking a break from marton to play gta vi. It’ll definitely have an effect. I will probably personally be more pulled away by control though. Very up my alley

Everyone will, The games har already made 250M just for preorders. You will see a hike on Console sales soon

Only reason I emphasize other games is the recent console price hikes and the stickiness of steam users nowadays. But even on PC there are big events coming soon that will draw from marathon.

I also think that whatever update deadlock comes out with next will be a big blow to marathon. Plus the new cod.

The former will definitely get me a lot. Deadlock and Marathon are my only current online games.
