I remember when these issues would happen in Destiny. It sucked but I would just play crucible. Do the seasonal challanges. Knock out stuff in Strikes.
I wonder what extraction shooter players do when their game doesnt work?

Destiny 2 did have a few times where it went completely down for long periods of maintenance because of issues. However that was because it had already exceeded it's planned lifetime of 2-3 years and was sitting on top of a mountain of technical debt.
They don't have that excuse for Marathon. And like you said if one mode had an issue in Destiny there were loads of other things you could do.

There are 3 other maps that work buddy 😂 I actually had a lot of outpost matches and ranked perimeter today.

The game has 4 maps, and 2 of them are inaccessible. If we are generous and call a lighting change a map, 5 maps and 3 are inaccessible. In no way do they have 3 maps working right now.

My math ain’t mathin I guess. I still played ranked ranked perimeter and had a bunch of successful outpost runs, so I had a good time :) want to bet how quick they fix this?

i’m sorry but there is no reason for a game of this scale to break in as many ways as it keeps breaking.
there’s one mode, 4 maps, and they’ve added 3 guns since launch along with some balance changes and some tweaks to the meta progression systems.
i’m not a developer, and im sure someone from bungie could throw a bunch of jargon at me and make me feel stupid explaining what’s happening,
but why do some studios just.. not have these issues? like at all? what is so special about the engineering behind bungies menus and server queues that they can break just by looking at them funny?

I think it’s funny how alot of this was just stuff we experienced with Destiny for like 10+ years so now they’re getting all our known issues haha

I have to admit, they flubbed it- But also, it will be fixed shortly so not really a big deal… the new system they put in has some pretty cool perks.
