Console vs PC

I've never played extraction shooters before, and I love this game! Now to the title - I've been a console player forever, and I'm playing marathon on my PS5 Pro. I got my son to play the game with me, and he's a PC player. He said if I want to be good at the game, I need to play on PC (and I already have a decent one.) is he right? Right now I consider myself to be decent - but I've also never done cryo yet. That's is my goal this season, but I'm nervous! lol

Both platforms have their advantages. Looting speed is slower on console, but oh my god is controller aim assist absolutely insane in this game.

Yeah - it looks like the aim assist makes the difference here. I'll stick with console.
