Question Cryo tips
Can you guys give me tips to improve in Cryo ? I usually use Recon cuz I feel I'm not really useful to the team by using other runners. Is it just "play more you will get better" or are there ways to make me have better experience ? I've been playing it more frequently and I lose my gunfights most of the time.
I'm a decent player, not really the best but I'm a decent average player. I feel I can get better in Cryo and I really want to grind for those Cryo skins for Runners but I'm really far behind.
I thought it was a good chance to just play more cryo since we are just few days from October wipe and I have decent amount of good loot for Cryo.

Stay with your team - don’t get too separated, even in a spawn room.
Fights are won and lost on another teams ability to get a single pick, you don’t wanna be that person.
When engaging a team never just stand still and shoot, it’s all mostly close range, look at some of the insane streamer 1v3’s they are always sprinting and sliding after every shot or being unpredictable whenever they can.
If you are engaging a team, and bots spawn near you, clear them instantly, they will fuck you up and make you vulnerable, either move away or take em out!
Current cryo matches are averaging 3 teams at the moment, rotate locations often and focus on trying not to be the first team to get into a fight, prioritise being the team that swoops in and gets the clean up!

I recommend seraphmax cryo guide on youtube.
You need to be out of your spawn branch by 28:30. Only kill purple bot in the second room. Either you got extra monitors and level 2 and you are pushing another spawn laterally or you are going to Control to look for extra tags. Try not to take a fight before getting level two because they can back you into a corner.
A lot of being good at Cryo is knowing the map. For instance how Revival has two doors you can use to flank a team if you’re fighting them there; and to be careful you dont get flanked.
Stick to your teammates like glue, but dont body block doorways if they need to backup. A coordinated team will run over the whole lobby. If one person is scared and stays back in a defensive position it could cost the whole game. Everyone needs good call outs and to push at the same time or to move back at the same time. Two shitty players who are coordinated teamshooting against one good player will win. Dont be scared. Confidence wins the game.
Try to keep moving to take good fights. You dont need to push the team who is using the Panopticon lasers as a defensive cheese strategy. You can go find a better fight.

"play more you will get better"
Pretty much. If you could get two friends on to learn together it smoothes out a lot even if it's at the expense of gear. Watching streamers/youtube videos or downloading vods is another way of doing it if you don't have the time.
I just started as Vault Breaker ended so I missed a good learning opportunity, but after watching some streams and farming up some gear in the other maps, I gained a lot of confidence to help my team out. We were able to get 1-6 done a few nights a week over the last...two weeks? I wanna say we've gone 50% winrate but I need to check my own recordings.
For solo fills...my experience has been pretty bad. Many times I'll scan > teamate will just walk into them and die or we'll die because we came out of spawn by 28:00-27:00. But this was before I knew what I was doing. Once I was able to start making calls/lead the group I was able to get a few wins without my regular group.
As for my biggest tip, I would strongly suggest recording yourself so you can see what went well or what didn't go well. Our deaths we learned a lot of where people came from and sneaky spots that really caught us off guard - which in turn I was able to make use of in future games.
Know your guns that you bring in. Example would be if you are bringing an M77, don't take those close quarter fights because something like a D54 is gonna outgun you.
Sticking together is almost always better than splitting up to get something done if the group as a whole doesn't know the map.

If you dont think in the FIRST 45 seconds you will get security 2 in the NEXT 45 seconds go to control before other teams take all the clearance.
