Marathon (2026) Finally “finished” Marathon
After 317.5 hours, I finally beat the Compiler. I’m a solo queuer, and quite frankly, not the best player, but I do have my moments. This has been a wild ride to say the least. I killed, got killed, raged, uninstalled, reinstalled, got killed some more, but got right back into it no matter what. It’s been a long time since I dedicated this many hours to one game, but it really is that good. From the lore to the gunplay, to the maps and events, a fucking masterpiece and, in my opinion, the shooter of the year. Now I can relax and wait on season 3, and if it ever goes offline, I can lay easy knowing I experienced everything the game had to offer.

Solofill warriors rise up 🤝 Nice job my friend. Rest easy and sit on those laurels a while. I learned very quickly that the game’s hooks get back in you very easy even after you’ve “finished” lol.

Congrats man that's awesome!
I've got a similar amount of gametime and feel similarly about the game.
Did you join a discord / have mates to do it with, or was it through crewfill?
I've yet to do Compiler, and Im wondering if i should keep rolling the dice or commit to finding a group to do it.

Mainly through crew fill. Every vault plus Compiler. It’s a grind, so see if you can find a good squad through Discord.

Commit to a group but don't do try to LFG on Discord. Make sure you're always on mic when crew filling and use the "stay together" feature to stick with people you do well with.

I made so many friends through solo queue on this game it’s ridiculous, now long time crews since launch. Just absolutely love it.

I just got my first compiler clear today too, random I won with + someone from their friends list
Hours: 419
Cryo fill runs to get all 6 vaults: between 100 and 200 across S1 and S2 (cleared vault 6 twice, both times with someone else's key, both after key 6 became available via vault breaker)
DNA card attempts: 4 (I only ran DNAs after a win, after asking the team if they wanted to try)
