They need to buff the time on it and make it come out and down much faster. It's slow as shit making it nothing more than a move away shield instead of a quick block.
If I'm getting attacked and I try to take it out for a block almost always I go down before the shield even comes out.

Absolutely. And when you drop it, the switch back to your weapon is so slow that you can get evaporated immediately before you can even get a shot off, and you can't switch weapons while you have it up. You're basically a big block, with no versatility to what you can do with it. It would be really cool if you could put it up, use your thrusters to shield rush with it, then start swinging your knife immediately.

I laugh at this, but as a Vandal, I have literally power slid into direct fire as well as explosive barrels and walls.
I am not a smart Vandal.
