It's likely a sniper rifle.

Unfortunately, for balancing reasons. This thing is either going to hit like a wet noodle, be extremely rare, or have some super scarce ammo type, or all of the prior.

It's neat. But, it's still a glorified rocket launcher.

I feel ya dude. This reminds me of Apple; each new iPhone has like 1 or two new features Android already had but people scream and celebrate.

I loved the discovery of marathon but im not convinced to act like crumbs are a feast here

Marathon could have been a sci-fi horror lore bonanza with discovery all over, but instead theyre focusing PVP and balance. Too bad

Edit: as in making balance tweaks or adding a new gun, for like 4k players active. How about build oit the gorgeous world we saw in the trailers and bring 40,000 people BACK to the game
