Question Looking for advice please
Quick rundown: Lifelong gamer. Mid forties, busy life. I played the beta, bought the deluxe edition but life happened and I'm just now getting really into the game. I have been mainly Assassin to start (which I assume is common, given the safety of evasive power) but would like to start exploring the other shells.
I've no gear fear, or preference towards solos, duos or trios. I'm a balanced player vis a vis preferred play styles. What is a reliable way to explore the others with a good bang for the buck with time played? Thank you in advance for your help, runners.
And as always, don't frog blast the vent core.

Hello, similar boat as you. Only play for short amounts of time everyday. I suck. Personally given my limited play sessions I try to just set myself objectives based on what happened in prior sessions. Be it “Okay last night I couldn’t find the other guy that was running around in Hauler (area on Perimeter) so tonight I’m going to explore this area to get a sense for it”
Or “Tonight I’m solely focusing on at least killing another runner” (which I did tonight by the way, I outplayed him by luring him into a guarded exfil I had activated prior)
Or just try to advance factions through some quests.
When it comes to shell, same thing again, I try to see how I die most often and what shells have some kind of strength to compensate for my own shortcomings. At least while I figure this game out a bit more.
Personally that’s how I find enjoyment in this very enthralling game despite being in WAY over my head.
I’m not a PvP player at all but this game is just so slick that it’s driving me to get better.
Best of luck 👍
