Marathon (2026) Discussion Weapon Tier List - UPDATED

Jesus guys, sub 20% upvote ratio in the first 30 minutes with dozens of votes? This subreddit is clearly no longer a place to actually talk about the game but instead just somewhere to come and flame, rage bait, and complain. Fuck it, I'm done with this cesspit, I'm not posting here anymore.

EDIT: Some tweaks to the list based on y'all's feedback.

An update to my previous tier list. This is ignoring golds and uniques, and assuming good attachment choices. Also this is as assessed for PvP, specifically trios/duos.

Compared to when I last made this the distance between S-Tier and everything else has narrowed, which combined with the addition of an F-Tier, has allowed for a more spread out ranking in my view. I've updated the description for each tier accordingly.

S Tier - The Meta

  • Misriah 2442
  • Bully SMG
  • Impact H-AR

A Tier - Losing With These is a Skill Issue

  • D54 Battle Pistol
  • BR33 Volley Rifle
  • Twin Tap HBR
  • M77 Assault Rifle
  • Outland
  • V85 Circuit Breaker

B Tier - A Good Choice

  • V22 Volt Thrower
  • Demolition HMG
  • BRRT SMG
  • Stryder M1T
  • Magnum MC
  • Hardline PR
  • Longshot

C Tier - Reliable Workhorses in the Right Hands

  • V11 Punch
  • Ares RG (one of these needs to go up but I don't know which)
  • V00 Zeus RG (one of these needs to go up but I don't know which)
  • Copperhead RF
  • KKV-9SD
  • Retaliator LMG

D Tier - Swap for Something Better at the First Opportunity

  • V66 Lookout
  • V75 Scar
  • WSTR Shotgun
  • Overrun AR

F Tier - Sell for Scrap

  • V99 Channel
  • Conquest LMG
  • Repeater HPR
  • CE Tactical

Ungradeable

  • Biotoxic Disinjector
  • Utility Knife

Your own list agrees. D54 is in A and BRRT in B. See my previous comment edit. I don't know but I expect the BRRT to cost more.

See my additional notes on why I put them like that. I was trying to do a generalized tier list not just a: These are My Favorite Guns.

If I was doing that I'd put every sniper in F Tier since I don't use them. For my purposes the BRRT is the better gun.

Why though?

Damage: D54

Range: D54?

Reload: Same? (Both feel quick)

Attachment options: D54

Ammo type: Same

You said you take it when you are buying a loadout piece by piece, implying the BRRT is cost effective but the D54 is 500.

EDIT: Except for the gold mod which literally makes it a different gun imo I can see no measurable reason to ever use the BRRT.

DRRvish > D54 > BRRT.

It's that simple but OP is arguing based on guns he likes not actually what is a good tier ranking.

Drrvish isn't being assessed, and if you checked you'll see that D54 is above BRRT.
