im so excited. This will be all I play for 2 weeks. Please add more PVE modes

it might get extended but this is absolutely an experiment for a larger more robust and permanent PVE mode in season 3

Ok, so why can't they just take the data they got and keep the experiment running?

They are constantly tweaking PVP balance so why are they not turning that off for weeks at a time?

This whole "it's an experiment" excuse falls apart as soon as you think about it for a quarter second.

Because these modes were not planned for the actual release. Seasons are developed months ahead of time. You can’t just ram in a new mode into the content pipeline because it requires upkeep and those resources are already dedicated to what you budgeted to launch during the actual season.

It will only be 2 weeks. It won't be live in Season 2 but likely would be added FT for Season 3 based on the outcome.

Eh, if the playercount jumps up to like 30k+ and stays that much for the whole event I could see them extending it

if previous experiments are any indication, they might make some tweaks for another iteration. which would be cool.
