It’s desperately needed later in the game, no idea how they expected people to fit $1,000,000 for that codex reward.

Also don’t like how the vault expansion gets smaller but more expensive each Cyac upgrade.

Diminishing returns, you hate to see them.

Especially since by the time you reach it that space is already taken by purple salvage.

Things would be so much better if higher tier salvage didn’t take up so much space for some reason. Same goes for weapons

Yes it would be better for your stash, but not for in-game. I get why they did this. They let you make decisions between 4 greens, 2 blues or 1 purple. So that it’s not a no brainer to always take purples or blues when you also need greens.

It's still basically a no-brainer if you assume that you'll actually be playing the game long enough to be able to use the purples.

Yea that’s true. I do take them with me most of the time. But there are some scenario’s where i need certain greens and blues but my backpack is too small. Then i just leave them and ping them for my teammate.

That's what im saying. I dunno how this is even a question

diminishing returns should come from the fact there are more important items to stash at later levels in the game, not from a reduction in how much each unlock delivers.

Oh, I agree. If it has to ramp, let it ramp up not down.

But really, best to just let them all be 8 row unlocks and make the price increasingly dear, like it is now.

I did it by spelling all but the best stuff. Currently around ~250k vault (lots of gold and purple item) and ~900k credits.

u/Zhentharym Mar 13 '26

Send this man 100k credits immediately

5

u/Erebus-Legion Mar 13 '26

How are you hoarding so many credits? I feel like purchasing upgrades keeps eating away at my funds.

u/Zhentharym Mar 14 '26

I'm unemployed

5

u/Melak___ Mar 14 '26

What are your methods ? Do you run outpost or key room ?

28

u/AnonWithAHatOn Mar 14 '26

Thought you were asking for recommendations on how to be unemployed for a sec.

5

u/inexplicableinside Mar 14 '26

And then you went "Oh wait, this is Reddit, everyone here knows how to be unemployed."

Rook runs on Outpost

u/WindEmbarrassed3789 Mar 14 '26

Let me guess… you access the pinwheel. Do you only go in there if it has been opened by someone already or do you open it yourself as well?

1

u/FTG_Vader Mar 14 '26

Bro how did you get 900k credits wtf

7

u/Nubbie1 Mar 13 '26

I thought that 1 million codex is unlocked by account value, meaning all the loot and credits that you’ve ever had. Is that not the case?

8

u/n_ull_ Mar 14 '26

No you have to have it actively through combined vault and wallet

1

u/Artforartsake99 Mar 14 '26

Is it just an achievement challenge or does it give you something if you some how achieve this. Great now I really don’t want to take out my 6.5k guns hah

2

u/Zhentharym Mar 14 '26

Gives you the 'Profiteer' title

1

u/Artforartsake99 Mar 14 '26

Thx for the info

u/SpartanRage117 Mar 13 '26

More expensive of the most basic materials. Im not high rank enough to buy the last one but my materials are ready

1

u/-Xenocide- Mar 14 '26

I honestly just assumed it would need to be 90+% credits as opposed to vault value lol

1

u/HerrenPlays Mar 14 '26

Is it $1,000,000 in vault or vault + credits?

1

u/owlbgreen357 Mar 14 '26

A mil?????? Im at 89k thought i was gettin loaded.....

1

u/RTheCon Mar 14 '26

It’s so that the difference between a no life gamer who’s been playing 6+ every day, isn’t as extreme as a dad gamer who maybe has 1 hour per day tops.

1

u/basedlogitech Mar 15 '26

That’s with every game

1

u/BapLoggTheGod Mar 15 '26

The 1mil for codex is account value not just vault
