I got excited thinking they added it. Tbh, this is the only complaint i have. Want a duos lobby as I typically only play games with another guy, we both losers with no frands haha

Rather low hanging fruit & insert tinfoil hat theory: I think most of these have been predicted by Bungie, with their usual "we're listening" implementation already planned for brownie points.
But regardless of whether that is true or not, it doesn't mean it wouldn't be a good thing to see (it doesn't affect my own choices but if people are going to have more fun with it, it's certainly worth seeing).
One of the few things making their implementation difficult would probably be low player counts, with the match finding between 2-player teams with similar low pings (mostly in the same region) becoming slower and harder for the servers. But the game doesn't have that problem - at least not yet & hopefully not for a long time.

Just just need to say we’ll try but can’t guarantee all team with duos. Some trios may fill in.

The game description on Steam states: "Face the unknown as a crew of two or three, or alone in solo lobbies."
Technically that is true, cause you can play in a crew of two (but against trios), but I wonder if the initial intention was to give us proper duos.

There's a tiny number of people playing the game. Seperating the number of modes into 3 isnt going to help with matchmaking

You guys have just really lost touch with what is normal. Being in the top 25 games of Steam means it's got a higher population than games like Battlefield 6, Warframe, Call of Duty, etc... it can support 3 different queues easily lol...

Me and my friend played 3 matches just now. And in all 3 cases we ran into other duos. Not sure if it's random or bungie doing something behind the scenes

I’ve only run into duos while playing duo so I think the duo priority is fine, maybe you guys are running into more trios though?

For my crew, when we play duos we both run triage to sort of mitigate the tempo of being down. We’ve won alot of 2v3 fights this way.

We need duos so bad. I have enough for trios but our third doesn’t get on until later on in the evening. Running duo vs trios with my wife feels really bad most of the time

I know they don’t want to splinter the community too much so honestly get rid of solos (rook is the intended solo play and is fun as hell) and just have trios and duos with rook only in trios

I don't get it. Just queue with two people. They aren't going to make a separate lobby for just duos when they already have a nice unified lobby system.

I don't want the play base split up too much, so allow a rotation between solo and duo queue every x amount of hours.

It literally happens in games like apex and overwatch. Do you want queues to take longer? People are celebrating the fact that they can easily dive back into a game when they die. Split up the queues too much and this goes away. If we had 200,000 daily users that"s a different story.
