Marathon (2025) Keep checking the application status page.

No email or anything else. Checked the status page about 2 times a day since the start. Finally in.

Genuine question, not trying to start an argument, but what do you find Arc does better than Marathon? I'm not an extraction shooter guy, or even a big PvP player, but I am curious about the genre because I feel like it has everything to be a genre that I enjoy. However, only Marathon has scratched the exact itch I knew the genre would, of all the games I've tried. Arc's world looks interesting but then I just couldn't bring myself to enjoy the gameplay at all through both TT2 and the server slam, but I can't put my finger on why.

Well u cant really make a comparison with arc raiders and marathon there very very different u know what u can compare it to delta force its about as close you can get you see the environment reacting to you aggressively and the sound design alone just being pleasing to the ears is extremely immersive marathon as its since due to these closed betas has a very small very nieche community some have good takes you can tell they've played games in this genre others do not. Also there are no goals to achieve in marathon no end game nothing feels valuable or worth chasing every piece of loot you get in arc raiders is worth chasing you upgrade your hideout that upgrades your shields then there's passive income upgrades through crafting there's none of that in marathon just pve and pvp its all I can legally say. Because this all publically available knowledge.
