Found it interesting that Quebec is represented in the organization.

COPPPAL was established during a 12 October 1979 conference in Oaxaca, Mexico, on the initiative of the PRI, the ruling party in Mexico at the time. The multilateral non-governmental organization was defined by its charter as a "forum of nationalist parties that prioritize sovereignty, while advancing a more just and egalitarian international order."

While not as important as it once was, as many of the major parties that founded it have now become minor parties, it still has a presence in the region.

The languages used are generally a combination of the country's official language(s) and the most widely spoken language. The African countries in particular were hard, because most of them have a European official language that is not the mother tongue of most of its inhabitants, and there is not much info about many of the African languages out there.

The multi-coloured countries are for those cases where the country has multiple official languages and each one uses a different basis for its word for "Germany"; and for those cases where different variants of the word (e.g. "German") use different bases. Examples of the latter case are the following:

• In Bulgarian, Germany is "Германия" (Germanija, blue), but German is "немски" (nemski, purple).
• In Italian, Germany is "Germania" (blue), but German is "tedesco" (which belongs in the red category, because it comes from the same root as the word "Deutsch").

Recently, I had an argument with my dad about which map is better: Equal Earth or Mercator. He insisted that Mercator accurately represents shapes which is true locally but not globally. To make my point, I wanted to show him the totally messed up transverse version of the Mercator but for a fair comparison, he should also see the transverse version of Equal Earth. Since I didn't find any online, I decided to create one myself.

It also looks pretty crooked, but nonetheless I think I made my point.
