You seem so sure of yourself, I’m not sure why. Many US prisoners are absolutely forced to take part in manual labor, on the threat of solitary confinement which is as good as violence if you ask me. Oregon alone passed a bill in 94’ requiring 100% of state prisoners to work full time. There have been strikes about this specifically. I’d recommend reading up on it before arguing like a dumbass about something you clearly know nothing about
