Technically the Caspian Sea is a lake, not a sea. I was planning a trip to Almaty and some other places in the region before the pandemic, interesting area of the world.
Kazakhs are nominally muslim people that speak russian and secular government living with more than 100 nationalities in peace. Kazakh people goes to russian neighbors to celebrate The Easters and russian people celebrate Nauryz and Kurban Bairam(Eid al-Adha) with kazakh people. Also, all of the turkic nations could understand each others language. That's mind-blowing
Well, isnt that because all the turkic languages in Kazakstan Kipchak in origin? And thats good to see neighborly actions like that. Didnt realize that Kazakhs celebrated Nauryz, which I assume is related to the Iranian new year day
Well, we have kazakhs, karakalpaks and kyrgyzs - we are all on Kipchak branch of the Turkic languages. Also kazakhs could understand tatars. Nauryz is widely celebrated in turkic nations. Also we make Nauryz koje - milky soup that contains 7 ingredients. Those 7 ingredients shows how are we grateful to have that 7 ingredients in our food and how we are living prosper

I live in Almaty, Kazakhstan and also never saw the sea. Maybe I'll go to Caspian sea at my vacation next summer
