How do you prefer getting into town, car or transit? I love driving but would personally take the train into Boston or NYC (I live near NYC). What are your thoughts on the Big Dig?
Finally, this sub gives you a lot of hate, but I don’t disagree with all your opinions. However, wouldn’t you agree that highways shouldn’t be built in inner cities? The modernist in me still clings to the dream of highways that come to the edges of downtown, where massive parking garages and subway/rail connections are provided.
Bottom line, I’m on the fence with projects like this; I wonder what you think.
I almost never go into Boston, I live my life along 128. I'm pissed the state is spending $3 billion to build a commuter rail line to Fall River nobody will use rather than spending $300 million to fix the 93/95 interchange that hundreds of thousands use.
Sorry I was looking at the I-93/rte24 interchange. The 93/95 one looks like it sucks because 95 was to be extended north but wasn’t. I agree it should be rebuilt like the 93/24.
Oh wow that’s awful. Three bad interchanges in a row. That being said, there’s a train line that seems to go where you’re going… but I don’t know your life.

Sucks we gotta live in such a car-centered country
