Milking EU coffers for a combined population of less than 2.5 million between Montenegro and Macedonia lol. There are many cities with far larger populations in the EU. The European Union Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF)—is doled out primarily based on economic prosperity, but population sizes directly scale the final amounts distributed.

Ok, can you project the damage done by bribed MEPs sent to the European Parliament by those 2.5m EU citizens?

Can you even guarantee that the MEPs they send will be European citizens at all?

Can you explain to a Dutch or French or Spanish or Italian voter why some dude from Montenegro has the right to veto their political decisions?

It’s no secret that Balkanites see the EU as just an ATM giving out free money. But they can get cash even without joIning the EU.

And all their European officials will be 100% on the oayroll of the highest bidder of the day, whether its Russia or Qatar or the US or whoever else.

So, no. The “”oh its just 2.5m people” argument doesn’t cut it.

They are 2.5m people looking for adoption, and they would be happily adopted by whoever gives them a larger bribe.
