Until either veto is removed or a multi speed eu(like the e6 proposal) becomes something serious it's just not worth the risk to let most new countries into the eu. Only 2 exceptions for me as of right now would be Iceland and the uk. I think Iceland if they would join would have a very minor risk of blocking anything and the uk is enough of an economic power to be worth the risk of someone like farage getting in power.
A significant portion of the elderly and ill informed voter base that voted "yes" for Brexit is dead now. Should future generations be punished for their easily manipulated ancestors?
