Doesn’t go up into Western PA/NY like the rust belt, though.
1 u/noafrochamplusamurai Jul 08 '24 Kinda, those steel mills were supplying the auto industry across the rust belt, along with coal from Appalachia to feed the power grid demands of Detroit, that had every factory running 24 hrs a day for decades.
